The ImageLib Team escaped to Dallas, Texas and came back with the acclaimed VideoLib Pro, adding this "must-have" video/multimedia Delphi tool to their existing arsenal of ImageLib products.
VideoLib Pro has always included built-in hooks for seamless integration with ImageLib, and now as part of the ImageLib family, SkyLine Tools plans to continue this tradition with future VideoLib innovations.
VideoLib Pro is the only one of its kind on the market. It is being used for video conferencing, medical applications, research applications, on-line live video, digital live image capture, etc.
In just a few short minutes you can capture live and stored video and sound to a standard audio-video interleaved (AVI) file. With VideoLib, you can effortlessly playback the recorded AVI file. This component is easy to use for the novice but flexible enough for the expert developer. Not only can you use this product for your production code but also as a development tool to generate video files to use in your applications. Video frames can be grabbed and saved to bitmap files which also can be imported to your application. This product will instantly link you to the multi-media age. (Any video input source will work: Camcorder, TV, VCR, etc.) It also integrates directly with ImageLib.
How to Use VideoLibTM
The process simply involves placing the VideoLib component onto a Delphi form. To view live video set the Active property to True. To capture the live video set the AVIFileName property to a valid file and call the Sequence function. Once the capturing is complete, you can then use PlaybackLoad and PlaybackStart functions to playback the recorded AVI file.
For more control over the capture sequence you can include the TVideoCaptureParms and TVideoAudioParms components. The TVideoCaptureParms gives you tighter control over the video capture. It allows you to choose options such as the frame rate. With TVideoAudioParms you can specify parameters like stereo or mono and number of samples per second.
