For black & white text files:

  1. If you're scanning these, you'll definitely want to use the Corporate Suite for the CCITT 4 file types. It stores only the black letters, and ignores the white background, therefore creating much smaller files to work with (appx 35KB as opposed to appx 3MB). File type is CCITT 3 or 4**.
  2. You'll love the anti-aliasing feature; it fills in broken text or lines, and vastly improves the quality/readability of the scanned image (otherwise images come in lossy or blurry)
  3. Our Corporate Suite has a deskew feature which straightens out image when it feeds into the scanner crookedly.
  4. Corporate Suite has multi-page scanning as opposed to single page scanning in Combo.
