SkyLine Tools Imaging, the leading provider of imaging tools in the Delphi and C++Builder market announces the forthcoming release of its Corporate Suite 6 for Delphi 5 & 6 and C++Builder 4 & 5. This new version of the ImageLib Corporate Suite is the "last word" in Document Imaging Toolkits.

Super Fast Twain and Save Functions
The Suite boasts super fast Twain handling so that scan speeds will match the highest speeds of scanners. SkyLine's "Save Ahead" technology uses multi-threads to simultaneously scan and save documents on multi-page or ADF (Automatic Document Feeding) scanners. Never has Twain been so fast! Not only does this feature work on a scanned save, but it works on any save so that you may perform other functions while your image is being saved.

Award Winner SkyDoc.exe with Source Code!
Two time winner of the Delphi Informant's Readers' Choice Award, SkyLine continues to offer its SkyDoc Image.exe, an enduser Document Imaging package supplied with source in Delphi. This package enables programmers to immediately get their application up and running so as to demo it for prospective clients. Programmers may use the SkyDoc as it is "out of the box" or tweak it for a more customized application.

Superior, Lightening Fast Anti-Aliasing
The Corporate Suite's superior, lightening fast, anti-aliasing technology increases the readability of displayed images by adding several shades of gray to the jagged edges of characters to produce clear legible and smooth text. The user no longer must zoom-in on certain areas of the image to be able to read the words.

Magnifying Glass
The magnifier allows users to scan the image in its original size rather than requiring an overall zoom in of the image, making it convenient to read one page without adjusting the image on the screen.

Annotations
Annotation capabilities allow users to mark up images on-screen and save them separately or to burn them into the document. The user can add arrows, underline text, highlight areas, add post it notes and time date stamps all with the simple click of the mouse. And Annotations in the Document Imaging Component are Flicker Free! That means no need to worry about readers seeing a blacked out word, name or salary when downloading the image.

New Thumbnail Manager Component
The Suite 6.0 new resizable, flexible stand-alone thumbnail manager, with the latest Windows "look and feel", can be used in several components including the Multimage and the SkyDoc Image component.

Full Color Imaging Package
The twenty file formats supported by the Suite include: PCD (Photo CD), TIFF CCITT 3 and 4, Multipage TIFFs, Packbits, TIFF LZW, AVI, WAV, MID, Animated GIF, Transparent GIF, Progressive JPG and PNG.

Equipped with a slew of image correction, manipulation and deformation tools, the Suite offers forty filters that allow easy handling of color image files. Correction effects such as brightening, contrast, color reduction and rotation provide vast improvement on dull, difficult to read images. Also included are items such as hue and saturation, edge detection, inverting and sharpening.

The Zoom, Pan and Scroll features offer precise control when moving across large images. Yet another benefit to programmers is the security of knowing that the toolkit in the Corporate Suite has been tested thoroughly. With thousands of applications tested and running in the marketplace, programmers can be assured that the application they write with Skyline's software will have been field tested many times over.

Document imaging features are:
